Handmade & Made-to-Order Products

All of our lighting products are handmade to order and created specifically for each customer. As these items are made to your requirements, they are non-refundable and cannot be returned unless they are faulty or damaged upon arrival.

We offer a 24-hour cooling-off period after an order is placed. During this time, orders may be cancelled for a full refund. Once production has commenced, cancellations, returns, and refunds cannot be accepted unless the item is faulty.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Photographs of the damage may be requested to help us resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Returning Goods

Returned items must be securely packaged and returned in their original packaging wherever possible. We cannot offer refunds for items damaged during return transit due to inadequate packaging.

Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or supplied in error.

Terms & Conditions

Handmade to Order

All Seaside Shades products are handmade to order. As each item is individually crafted, slight variations in colour, pattern placement and finish may occur. These variations are part of the unique character of handmade products and are not considered defects.

Ordering

By placing an order with Seaside Shades, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. Once your order has been received, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

Cooling-Off Period

Customers have a 24-hour cooling-off period from the time their order is placed. During this period, orders may be cancelled for a full refund by contacting Seaside Shades in writing.

Production

After the 24-hour cooling-off period has expired, your order will enter production and materials will be allocated specifically for your item. Once production has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled or amended.

Returns & Refunds

As all products are handmade to order, we are unable to accept returns or provide refunds once production has begun, unless the item is received damaged, faulty or not as described.

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, providing photographs and details of the issue. We will work with you to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

Delivery

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on production schedules and courier services. Seaside Shades cannot be held responsible for delays caused by third-party delivery companies.

Product Care

Our lampshades and table lamps are intended for indoor use only unless otherwise stated. Customers are responsible for ensuring products are used safely and in accordance with any care instructions provided.

Shipping Information

All Seaside Shades products are handmade to order with care and attention to detail. Once your order is complete, it will be dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked 48, and tracking information will be provided.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we reuse quality recycled boxes and packaging materials wherever possible. This helps reduce waste while ensuring your order is securely packaged and arrives safely.
